Flannel Quilt

There is nothing like a flannel quilt to hide under when its cold outside. So I made this quilt for my husbands dad as a gift for winter. It was a kit I purchased quite a while back from a great store out at Warren called Weigela, which unfortunately isn't online as yet. (I will google it just in case) I thought it was suitable for him as it wasn't too girlie, not floralie (is that even a word??) and the colours aren't even pink!! Which is unusual for me. And to be honest, I didn't think I could fit another flannel quilt in my loungeroom....no honestly, I wanted to give him a quilt, actually I wanted to give them one each, so this is the one I gave to my father-in-law, Greg. Tomorrow, I will show you the one, I gave my mother-in-law, Janice. She was lucky enough to get a pink, florally one, hehe. She like florally by the way...

I can see how warm and snuggly it looks. Makes me want to get another one made this year.
