My Little Stitchery Bag

I have had a very hectic week, with school holidays and a couple of road trips, so haven't been able to attend to the blog. Martha has been away too so not much sewing happening here....although, I have made some skirts for my Maddi with fabrics from our shopping spree, and she just loves them. Maddi was a wonderful helper, and she actually picked the three fabrics in each skirt, which I must say, all go together perfectly. As for the photo, well, I bought a new camera to take blog photos, and I haven't worked out how to upload the photos yet! My old cameras memory card just slipped right into the front of my laptop, so it was easy, but this camera has a memory stick, so I suppose I need to read the instructions and find out how to do it.

I do however, have some photos all ready to post of projects we have finished lately. This bag is a little bag that I made to carry my on-the-go stitching in. I just love it as the fabric its made of is really durable, and doesn't get dirty easily. Mind you, I cannot for the life of me recall what the fabric is called, it's on the tip of my tongue, I have it in a range of colours. Maybe someone out there can help me??

Well, I am off to read my camera instructions so I can post a photo of Maddis skirts. Will keep you posted.

Very cute bag - I really like the stitching/applique design - is it your own?

Glad to hear there are others that are very busy through the holidays and not getting much done.
Love your last two bags. Beautiful. I'm getting very envious of all you girls sewing.
