The 5" squares become four patches and I just love the colour combinations coming together. The red and aqua together is lovely, and I could have easily ditched everything else and simply made the whole quilt from just these two colours.
I'm not too sure about the aqua with the green spot, but there is plenty of it in the range, so I am forced to go with it. I am sure it will work once the quilt is together....I have faith in Bonnie & Camille, I'm sure they know better than I ;-)
This four patch is one of my favourites.
Just playing with the layout before I add the other sashings which will be happening this evening. It's funny when playing with the layout, that no matter where you put the blocks, there is always something in the wrong spot....it seems to take me forever to get it right. (I'll just add, this layout was no where near the final one, see the two blue spot blocks are too close to eachother, among others!!)
