Bird Bucket

I found Janelle Winds book while going through a tidy up of my sewing table, as you do, and got the urge to give her bucket a go. I changed the design a little by adding her bird design to the front instead of the houses, which saved a heap of time. I just used fabrics from Spotlight, which are fresh and bright. This is the large basket, which is smaller than I thought from the picture in the book, but I am happy with it. No idea what I will use it for, but its cute, and looks lovely and my white Ikea sewing cupboard. 

I just need to make a couple more to match.....I have plenty of left over fabric. Surprised?
