Here in our little town, the river has flooded our ovals, parks and many properties. We have been lucky enough so far that it hasn't come into town. We are all praying that the rain stays away, but it is forecast for tomorrow. The river peaked yesterday at 14.25 mtrs and has been going down today, thank goodness.
The water you see below is normally our park and footy ovals...
This photo shows you just how deep the water is. The water actually went higher than this photo, and got as high as the cross bars of the shed below, before receding.
You can see the cross bars of the footy goals...which eventually also went under.
Hopefully, the rain stays away long enough for the river to go back down to normal.

I think I'll Stick to my 5kms of Mad Mushin road...I so hope it doesn't bust the banks...I had to keep my kidlets home for 3day last week with our river. I'm missing my little trips over there...Hope you have snorkles!!!
so much water around........no rain here today YET..........missed lots of school here too......
It has been amazing hasn't it! We nearly got stuck in Mudgee last week, but luckily all the causeways were still passable by the time we had to go home. Am getting desperate for some sunshine now!
Oh wow! I hope you and yours have recovered from all of the water by now.
