My sons Army Graduation 2nd Dec 2011

Last week we all travelled to Wagga Wagga to attend our eldest sons graduation from The Army as an Avionics Technician. For the last two years he has been studying at the RAAF base and has completed about 105 exams, hours of study & prac and is about to leave Wagga now and be based in QLD, alot further away from me :(

Here are a few photos of our boy, who was looking as handsome as ever in his dress uniform. We were, and are extremely proud of him, and shed a few proud tears as we watched the ceremony. (He is the skinny Army boy on the right if you don't know him.)

As the March out is for all the ADF, Sailors, Air Force & Army marched out together, as they all train & live on base together on a daily basis. From now on, Jarad goes to an Army base to continue his training.

After the official ceremony we went inside for the graduates to receive their certificates and reports.

Then it was time for family photos....I wont bore you with the 27,000 family photo's that were taken. here are a couple.
Serious photo.

Token silly family shot....the PG rated one ;-)

PS....I had lots of blog post photos on my iPhone, including Martha's & my needle swap photo's....then my iPhone went for a swim in the pool. Well who knew that iPhones couldn't swim??? Anyway....I have retaken some photo's and you will be happy to know I will have some blog posts that relate to sewing coming very soon :)
